Christina Aguilera loved her pregnant body

When I was pregnant (and that would be like almost 11 years ago now!), I didn’t really stare at my body much. It felt weird to see my body get out of shape. I didn’t dislike it or anything but I am no Christina Aguilera when it comes to admiring my bod.

For Christina, she loved her pregnant body! She was in awe of it! Who could blame her? She looked great pregnant!

The changes my body underwent when I was pregnant amazed me. Watching my belly grow, it was incredible. As a woman, I think you have to look at your pregnant body as the most beautiful it has ever been because you are housing another life. And I had my little cleavage, which I enjoyed showing here and there. But I definitely wanted to get back into shape after the birth. I was missing the gym. Trust me, I hate working out. I’m not a fitness maniac, and more than anything I love a good burger and fries. But I also love muscle definition and feeling good. It was important for me so that I could do the things I love, like performing on stage.

Christina Aguilera says critics take fashion too seriously

I agree with Christina Aguilera when she says that her critics take fashion too seriously. So she can be flamboyant at times, she can be over the top. Christina is an artist and she’s entitled to do that. She doesn’t mind being criticised though. For her, she believes at least people care enough to make a comment. It’s better than nothing I suppose!

Did you also know that Christina does not believe in fashion faux pas?

I don’t have a lot of patience when it comes to shopping. I’m more like: “Bring me lots of options.” Trends don’t particularly interest me, either, but I have put a lot of effort into planning my new wardrobe. I have loads of wig-heads for hats, and a shoe wall filled from floor to ceiling. It even has a ladder on wheels, a bit like in an old library, so I can scoot along and get what I want quickly.

I don’t believe in fashion faux pas. Every look I did was important at the time. When I was in the Lady Marmalade video it was all about being over the top, sexy and playful. The big hair, the make-up, it was so much fun. Would I do that today? Probably not. It was a different time, a different place for me.

Everybody has an opinion on what I wear, especially about the outfits that were perceived as being very provocative. Some people were really closed-minded and judgmental. Fashion should be fun; lots of people take it way too seriously.

Christina Aguilera’s costume malfunctions

I really like Christina Aguilera. I wouldn’t write about her if I didn’t like her. I admire her honesty and her ability to laugh at herself in embarrassing moments such as times when her wardrobe malfunctions or when she made a wrong move while performing. Quite refreshing to see a celebrity like Christina just shrugging it off and going on with her show!

Go Christina!

I’ve had so many wardrobe malfunctions on stage. One time I was doing a dance move and I had to get off a table. Somehow my high heel got stuck in my fishnet tights and I fell flat on the floor. I sat there, with a bruised butt and a tear in my pantyhose, shrugged my shoulders and had a good laugh with the audience. It was kind of embarrassing but, hey, the show must go on.

Christina Aguilera named one of the most beautiful people in 2008

In People Magazine Espanol edition, Christina Aguilera has been named one of the 50 most beautiful latinas ever. I agree with that!

Eight of the hottest Latina stars of the moment grace the cover of PEOPLE EN ESPAÑOL’s 50 Most Beautiful special. Angélica Rivera, Marlene Favela, Myrka Dellanos, Christina Aguilera, Sofía Vergara, Dayanara Torres, Danna García and Ivy Queen all posed together in a West Hollywood photo studio for the glamorous issue that will delight readers this month.

“I love Latin culture. It’s fire and passion, and I definitely want to instill that in my son,” cover girl Christina Aguilera told us of her son Max. Another new mom who earned a spot on our list was Thalía, who looks phenomenal just six months after welcoming her daughter Sabrina Sakäe. “Everything before Sabrina Sakäe was rehearsal. From Sakaë on is the show,” she said.

Christina Aguilera’s diet linked to sex of her baby

If it is true that a mother’s diet is linked to the sex of her baby then I am not surprised that Christina Aguilera had a boy while Nicole Richie had a girl.

A child’s gender can be linked to its mother’s diet around the time of conception, scientists say – meaning a son is more likely if she has had a higher energy intake.

A boy is also more likely if a higher quantity and wider range of nutrients – including potassium, calcium and vitamins C, E and B12 – has been consumed.

Between Nicole and Christina, Christina does seem the time to eat. Period.

Has Christina Aguilera started a trend?

Christina Aguilera as you may remember did not admit to the obvious (READ: her pregnancy) until she was almost ready to pop. If not for loose-tongue Paris, I don’t think Christina would bother saying anything at all!

Now it seems that Christina Aguilera has started a trend! Go girl, Christina has always been a trail blazer!

After more than 15 years of increasing overexposure, one of Hollywood’s most popular celebrity subjects is going back into hiding. Over the last nine months, the change has been gradual but is now undeniable. The era of showing off big baby bellies is over.

Today Hollywood’s leading ladies, dressed in diaphanous gowns and loose-fitting tops, smile for the cameras but refuse to answer questions about a possible baby bump concealed under their designer creations. They might be expecting, but now the stars want to keep the world guessing even if the answer is obvious.

Christina Aguilera is back in the studio

X17 Online reports that Christina Aguilera was spotted going to her music studio….This is good news for fans of hers like me who is waiting with baited breath for her next album.

What I don’t like is X17’s implication that Christina Aguilera is ‘out so much’ and even questioned ‘who’s looking after the baby?‘ — I believe that Christina is a very good mother and she is not seen out much! Not enough! She needs some down time and alone time too, surely?

Christina Aguilera is scarred for life

Just because Christina Aguilera has got some tattoos, the Statesman thinks Christina and other stars like her who’s got tattoos are scarred for life. I don’t think tattoos are scars though. Not that I’d have one myself but to each his (or her!) own!

Pink: She has a shooting star and angel on the left shoulder, “what goes around comes around” on right wrist and a “tru luv” a little higher up.

Christina Aguilera: She has “Xtina” on her neck, a small flower on the left wrist and strange looking design on the inside of her left forearm.

Beyonce: The American R&B singer and songwriter has a praying angel on the upper left thigh.

Victoria Beckham: The Former Spice Girl has five stars on her lower back ~ one for each family member, husband’s initials DB on the underside of the left wrist and Hebrew script on her upper back that reads: “I am my beloved’s, my beloved is mine”.

Lenny Kravitz: The musician has a dragon on the left shoulder, cross and various others on arms and rest of the body.

Robbie Williams: He has a lion with “Born To Be Mild” under it and “Elvis, Grant Me Serenity” above it on the right arm. The word “mother” is tattooed on the arm.

Nicholas Cage: The Oscar winning actor has a tattoo of a lizard with a top hat.

Bruce Willis: He has tattooed a skull with a top hat on his left arm, three stars on the left shoulder and a dragon on the right shoulder.

Christina Aguilera is sued for fraud

Wow, this is crazy. Imagine, someone is suing Christina Aguilera. This man is no ordinary man though. A bit on the ‘crazy’ side methinks. He’s alleging that Christina is his daughter. Wowza!

Christina Aguilera is being sued for fraud by a man who seems to be a bit delusional. Michael Dunlap is suing Christina for loss property, loss of earning capacity and other damages including “humility, harassment, lies, and slander.”

But here’s the good part. Dunlap claims he is Xtina’s father. He says he has 26 children through in-vitro, including Aguilera, Corey Feldman, Hayden Panettiere, Vanessa Williams, Hilary Duff and Matthew Broderick.

It’s good to see that Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman are enjoying some alone time. They haven’t really been seen out and about since Christina gave birth to baby Max. I suppose that’s normal. I mean, she’s only given birth in late January! That’s only like almost 3 months!

Christina is looking slimmer and slimmer as the days go by. I wonder if she’s gone back to the gym to shed her post-baby weight fats?

Christina Aguilera’s sister needs to get pregnant

There has been a ‘joke’ floating around the cyberworld that since Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson and Christina Aguilera are always being compared (not really sure why Jessica’s name is there…is she a pop diva like the other 2 then perhaps all their sisters should get pregnant too.

Jamie Lynn is pregnant. Ashlee Simpson is pregnant. Who’s next? Rachel Aguilera?

I doubt it though. Isn’t Christina Aguilera’s sister fiercely private? She has not pursued any acting or singing career and even if she did get pregnant, I don’t think we’ll find unless Christina announces it herself which I doubt will happen.

Christina Aguilera shines her own light

Good to see that Christina Aguilera got positive reviews from Vue Weekly on her performance at the Shine a Light concert of the Rolling stones. Christina Aguilera is indeed a great singer!

Christina Aguilera comes on surprisingly strong when she enters for “Live With Me,” holding her own with Jagger and showing some real restraint for a change when it comes to her voice. Instead of wandering up and down the scales, she keeps to the song’s melody—for the most part anyway. Aguilera ends up providing an interesting counterpoint to Jagger’s more primitive vocals, and she actually brings something extra to the song.

It’s notable, too, that there’s a moment during “Live With Me” that perfectly breaks down the separate approaches that Jagger and Richards take with music. Aguilera backs towards Jagger and the singer moves in for some onstage grinding with the tiny female vocalist; the camera cuts over to Richards and we see him lost in the sound of Bobby Keys’s saxophone, seemingly oblivious to everything except the moment where two old friends—Keys has been playing with the Stones since 1969—come together in the music that swirls around them.
